FAUX BOIS:

French for “imitation wood”, Faux Bois began in the 1800s as an art form designed to recreate the beauty of wood in architectural design.

FAUX STONE:

Faux stone captures the depth and translucence of real stone through layered paint, allowing its natural character to flow seamlessly onto any surface. In the first 2 images below, the small segment is genuine stone, while the bottom piece is painted to resemble the natural stone sample.
